 William Penn said of George Fox, the human founder of the Quaker faith, that he is “no man’s copy.”  He is unique, a religious genius. The crown of Fox’s experience is his knowledge and passionate love of God and Christ the Light and his ability to share this with others.

  • He is an orthodox Christian whose faith is anchored in the Bible.
  • A genuine mystic.
  • He believed that he is specially chosen and loved by God ; he also believed that everyone else is too.

  • He knew that there is terrible evil in the world. 
  • He did everything that he could to protect Friends. 
  • He had real clarity on what is right and wrong.
  • He understood that everyone could chose either goodness and light or evil and darkness.   
  • He is a genuine egalitarian who believed that everyone should have the chance to use their God given talents. 
  • He is a good and generous man who liked people; he wanted them to lead lives of peace and prosperity.
  • He is a kind man who is concerned for widows and orphans.
